I cannot say enough great things about this apartment leasing office... in particular, Viviana. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism. Maintenance is quick and efficient. I love the location. Thus far I can say that the apartment is well-maintained. Will provide another update in a few months since we just moved in.

It may come as a surprise to see the stark contrast between my two reviews, one glowing with 5 stars and the other expressing dissatisfaction.

Upon moving in to the property, I was warmly welcomed by Keri, which left a positive initial impression. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when it came to dealing with the maintenance team.

Upon completing the necessary paperwork, I meticulously documented all the damages requiring repair. Despite my efforts, the response from the maintenance team has been disappointingly sluggish. I have diligently submitted maintenance requests for various repairs, but progress has been frustratingly slow.

It is disheartening that after a month, only one issue has been addressed, while several others remain unresolved. The lack of urgency in fixing critical amenities like the dishwasher, leading to instances of flooding, is simply unacceptable.

Being a new resident, I anticipated a swift and effective resolution to maintenance requests to ensure that everything functions properly. Regrettably, the delays and lack of action have left me feeling let down and inconvenienced.

On the whole, my experience with the maintenance team has been unsatisfactory. I sincerely hope to witness improvements in their responsiveness and efficiency moving forward.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Kerri at the MAA rocky point Leasing Office, and I must say, she went above and beyond to assist us in our move to this location. Despite our late arrival on the first day even without an appointment , she graciously provided us with a tour of the property and showed us the unit we were interested in. Her helpful and friendly demeanor made the entire process seamless and enjoyable.

Thanks to Ms. Kerri's professionalism and dedication, we were able to smoothly transition into our new home, and we are now excited to explore and settle into this new location. A big thank you to Kerri for her outstanding service and for making our move a success. She truly exemplifies what excellent customer service is all about.

I just relocated to the Tampa area and after about 1/2 dozen tours, I set one up with Kerri at MAA RockyPoint. Kerri was very friendly and listened to what I was looking for and wanted me to compare 2 units. Kerri brought Jade as she is a new employee and learning. Kerri and Jade gave me such an amazing tour of a beautiful complex and left me with zero questions. Kerri was very attentive to what I was looking for and to Jade’s learning. It was a great feeling and I will be renting there soon. It was nice being treated like part of a community versus a business transaction. Great job to both of you and can’t wait to be a part of the community.

Very excited about living here. Viviana made the process so seamless! Honestly, I’ve lived in a lot of places and Viviana was the best I’ve worked with. The complex looks amazing and has great amenities. Highly recommend!

I recommend anyone thinking of moving here to analyze not only the reviews here, but also on Yelp. You will notice a common theme among the lowest reviews, that I advise you don't ignore. I ignored them and paid a price for it.

Common themes.

1. Roach and termite infestation. If you are a Florida native, you may think that roaches happen from time to time, but that is not the circumstance at Rocky Point. They have a true infestation that isn't going away.

2. Loud environment. Loud neighbors and the airport.

3. Overfilled dumpsters, trash all over the property.

4. Crime. Cars are frequently broken into. Mail room and mail boxes broken into.

5. Dog poop everywhere. Majority of pet owners are not picking up after their pets.

6. Fees and extra costs. Your first year of rent might be reasonable, but after that, it will increase astronomically. The cost to live there is above any other apartment complex in Tampa. Imagine paying high rent for an apartment that has a notorious roach infestation. Again read all the reviews.

Upon moving out, they will also invent bogus charges to squeeze even more pennies out of you.

Don't move here.

My experience with this apartment complex has been disappointing overall. Despite numerous requests, management failed to address issues promptly or effectively. Over the Christmas period, my apartment flooded due to neglect from management, who merely painted over water spots instead of addressing the root cause. The presence of mold growth and unpleasant neighbors further detracted from my experience. However, the one bright spot was Greg, the maintenance guy, who consistently went above and beyond to address concerns. While I appreciate his efforts, they were unfortunately not enough to compensate for the overall poor management of the property.

Take a look at the bedroom carpet soaked in water and the mold growth throughout the apartment.

Stay away from MAA!!!

Kerri at the leasing office is amazing! There was a small mix up with our floor plan and Kerri not only found us the perfect unit to switch to but she also cleaned the new unit herself so we could move in right away! The apartment community is wonderful as well and has beautiful walking paths throughout.
