The place isn't very clean. There were grease stains on the furniture. I woke up with allergies. Sink was cracked. Soap bottles in the shower didn't work.
Outdoor pool was not heated as advertised - maybe 70 degrees. There is no warm entry way. Towels are out in the cold. There were people decorating the lounge area, so it wasn't conducive to enjoying.

It's trying to be upscale, but missing important details.

Service from all staff was excellent!!
City view was outstanding!

For the price, other options are better.

I was very concerned based on low reviews, but we had an excellent 2 day stay. We are Titanium Elite and used a suite upgrade and were put in a Spectacular suite. At first it was not cleaned thoroughly, but the manager apologized and it was recleaned perfectly. The view from the 44 th floor was amazing and so was the room. We chose the breakfast over points and it was very good with excellent coffee. Each night we spent time in the Living Room lounge where there was a great buzz and excellent cocktails and service. We are in our 50s and in bed by 10, so we aren’t party animals by any means and found the W an excellent choice. It does have low lighting, but that is part of the vibe. The location can’t be beat!

By far the best Marriott hotel I've stayed at. Every aspect of this hotel is top-notch. From the minute we pulled up, we were taken care of. The valet and bellhop, Willy, was fantastic. The staff here are all genuine, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, and the halls smelled clean and fresh. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, modern, and have fantastic views.
We can't wait to come back.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a mostly positive experience. The room was excellent overall, though I did give it a 4 out of 5 for lighting, as it could have been better. The hotel itself was well-maintained and comfortable. While the restaurant within the hotel didn't offer a wide variety of food options, this wasn't a major issue since there are plenty of dining choices nearby.

The customer service was appalling, with staff members who were not only unhelpful but outright rude.

Our requests for assistance were either ignored or met with condescending responses, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The staff seemed uninterested in resolving issues and lacked the professionalism you would expect from a hotel at this price point.

Adding to the frustration, the overall staff was cold and unwelcoming, leaving a sour impression of what should have been a fulfilling experience.

Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere. There are plenty of other hotels in Philadelphia that actually care about their guests. W Philadelphia clearly does not.

First time staying at the W, it was an amazing experience. When we checked in Benjamin helped us and he was great. Very professional and welcoming. The amenities on site were amazing. Saturday night they had live music, then a Dj till 1 am. Overall had a great experience i would definitely come back to the W everything I visit.
Only drawback was the lighting. Dimly lit... but just being picky

The W in Philadelphia was a bit lackluster. I rented the room with a few of my buddies for an upcoming Eagles game. The room was slightly damaged/unclean (damaged wooden furniture, cracked sink, stained furniture) and there wasn’t really a fridge. They have a very small mini fridge which is already pre-filled with their drinks, with outrageous prices. The location is ridiculously busy 24/7, but I guess maybe that’s just the city life. You can park in a parking garage and walk to the hotel, or pay the $60 daily valet parking. The valet can take up to 30 minutes to deliver your car (since the streets are crazy busy) so just make sure to plan accordingly. Besides those flaws, the staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The cleaning staff do an amazing job as well.

Good hotel, and good location. The titanium 0”us benefits are great. Room service was not every day, which was surprising. Also, the body wash, and shampoo, conditioner pumps didn’t work well. Rooms are all great views high floors and front desk service is great. Just need to think about small improvements yo get to 4-5 stars.
