Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per la visita al Joshua Tree. Ampio parcheggio in stile Best Western proprio davanti alle stanze. Camera nella media, pulita ma un po' calda di notte. Colazione nella media self_service dolce e salato. Personale cordiale. L'hotel è proprio sulla via principale, forse un po' lontano da posti per cenare ma vicino a due supermarket. Piscina non utilizzata. Va bene per una notte.

Il motel è attaccato ad un Rodeway inn (che sembra di livello superiore), e il check in e la colazione si effettuano proprio presso il motel adiacente.||La stanza è piccola, non esaltante, ma in un viaggio on the road assolutamente nella media.||Piscina idem, piccola e non usata ma c'è.||Colazione nella media, si può ordinare l'omelette o qualcos'altro direttamente in cucina.....non è che si capisca benissimo come funziona ma è nel complesso è soddisfacente.||Non esaltante ma ci si può fermare tranquillamente.

Per strada abbiamo prenotato questo motel, pulito, economico, comodo.||Nulla di fantastico ma, nel complesso un bel compromesso, anche perchè pulito.||Peccato per l'idromassaggio non funzionate.||Unica pecca il rumore di vibrazione durante l'intera notte, ma dopo un po' si dorme comunque.

SCAM WARNING: This review is long overdue. My family booked a room at America's Best Value Inn in Twentynine Palms on new years eve. We booked via an app called Hopper. Unfortunately we did not read the reviews in advance or we would have known it was a scam. This hotel has lots of negative reviews just like this one. We trusted Hopper and we're victims of the scam like many others.
The room was filthy. Greasy fingerprints on the door and walls, brown splatters on the bathroom walls and makeup smeared on the shower curtain. The water came out of the tap looking like soap, no bottled water available, tv and internet didn't work, no coffee in the room, dirty sheets w/ hair. It was a long sleepless night waiting for the front desk to open.
When they did finally open they were so rude. The man who lives there told me it was probably my hair and if I had a problem or wanted to cancel the second night I would have to take it up with Hopper. We were so horrified we left. I SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE. Instead we decided to remain peaceful, especially on new years day with a three year old child. So we left, asked them to cancel the second night and went on. Not only did they not cancel the second night - they intentionally charged us over $300 for our terrible, sleepless stay.
Hopper has very fine print that said they will not help and all charges must be addressed with the hotel. It's a clear scam. All three of us, including my small child were sick after our stay. It was absolutely shameful how we were treated. Please be warned.
UPDATE: I reported this hotel to Better Business Bureau. After filing my report I discovered I was the 369th complaint filed against this hotel in the last 3 years. This hotel is a nightmare. My notes to the owner who will invariably read - do not bother with your standard "so sorry" response. Integrity is everything.
** Update 11/7/24 - I just stopped back to see if this place had been closed down yet for fraud. I see the message the owner left trying to skirt responsibility and deny I stayed there. 100% not true. I am certain I have the right hotel and I have pictures to back up everything I said. This place is an abomination. May all the karma of everyone your ever screwed over come back to haunt you 5 fold. To the readers - check the other reviews. This place is a nightmare.

Cameron was awesome accommodating me when I told him the TV was inoperable in my room and got it fixed lickety split. Also had excellent communication and customer service skills. ? Room was much bigger than I anticipated with a stove top and micro wave and fridge with a lil breakfast table as well. Bed was very comfy. Thx guys for a good job.

Positive: It was a nice size room with great amenities. We were relocated to the other hotel since ours had no working TV and would be on the 2nd floor. I very much appreciate the lady for helping us out. Negative: I called to complain about a loud television thinking it was upstairs. The clerk said he'd take care of it. One hour later nothing happened so went to the person's door myself. Ended up being downstairs. The young lodger respected my wishes but after too Negative: ""

The room was OK. It was clean when I arrived, but the jacuzzi was missing all the knows to be able to use it, the smoke detector was beeping all night my first night, the pffice was always closed you had to go next door to Oasis Inn and Suites for check in/out, the coffee shop in the office area was never open and housekeeping never came through 1 time my entire 8 days there. The first few days I had do not disturb, but I ended up setting my trash outside because I never received housekeeping. The parking lot is cramped. Very tight spaces. However, this is located very nicely in the area.

Over the years of visiting JTNP I've stayed at a number of places in Joshua Tree and 29 Palms and have found Americas Best Value Inn to be just that, the best value. All I require in an accommodation really is it to be clean and secure and Americas Best provides just that and a bit more. It's located close to the road (Utah Trail) that leads to the north entrance to the park and is within walking distance to a couple of restaurants, fast food, a supermarket and even a Dollar Tree. The beds are firm with a bunch of pillows and the bathroom is roomy with a good shower. Also a small refrig, a microwave, coffee maker and fast WiFi make for a very consistent and enjoyable stay. If there's a better bang for the buck close to the national park and there are more expensive places to stay I haven't found it and that's not for the lack of looking. A good location, secure, clean with a very pleasant accommodating staff (shout out to Cameron on the front desk) . . . that's what keeps me coming back knowing I will not be disappointed, after a half a dozen stays I haven't yet and don't see as I will in my future stays.
