Room is not clean and smelled of hair products. Structural settling of the hotel made the cabinet doors stay open. Upholstery needs to be cleaned. Definitely a party hotel. Don’t stay on the third floor. Nasty nasty! Can’t even shut the bathroom door because handle broken. Very bad for a choice hotel standard. Will be recommending my company take this off the list of hotels.

The level of customer service has definitely gone down in the last 5 years I have been coming here.

It was nice to come downstairs and see Sharon I the morning! She is a good symbol of customer service. Wish the day before had been more like her!

I stayed here 2 times before only to find beg bugs on my 3rd stay in room 221, and the room was very dirty. I made videos and caught the 2 bed bugs I saw to show it to the person on duty. I would never ever go back to this hotel.

The check in was good. Kim was here name. Very sweet
Room fairly dirty. Comforter was stained. Spider in room by lamp. Big one too. Shower not clean. But we were tired, one night I can survive.
Breakfast was not available at 6. Went back down around 6:15 at least now food was out. Coffee was not hot. Barely warm. Biscuit and gravy was cold. A blonde was loudly talking to staff(?) filling her plate with scrambled eggs. After these 2 men left she was talking to, we realized she worked here so we brought to her attention coffee and gravy and I swear no one has been so rude to us. Practically called us liars. She was unbelievable. We left and went to our room collected our stuff. Checked out by her. Asked for a card or company info. She had none. Wrote her name and address on piece of paper and we left.
Her name was Sharon. Terrible experience.
I will never go back there again.

The front desk manager is awesome, friendly, and always cleaning up. The other desk people on 2nd and 3rd shifts are not very energetic and are always hidden in the back far side of the desk.

We were visiting Illinois for the 2024 eclipse on April 8th and booked 3 nights at Sleep Inn. We modified our plans and one decision that was very easy was to stay there for a 4th night!||While the bldg shows some signs of age, it was immaculately clean. A chair in my room was missing a bolt which made the arm unstable. I mentioned it before we left for the day and it was repaired when we returned. Sharon and her staff were all very helpful, attentive and friendly, making our stay (almost) as memorable as the eclipse! If I visit the area again, I will definitely choose to stay there!

As soon as the agent at the desk handed me my room key she immediately blurted out my room number. Like, I'm totally by myself right now and you just told the one random person in the lobby that I'm solo and what room I'm in. So I ended up just having my mother stay in my room.
Now, I'm going to speak on the room itself.
Smells terribe and the floor felt slick even with my shoes on. I don't even want to take a shower because the shower looks gross and both the shower and floor has a layer of grime. Thankfully I have sandals I can wear in the shower.
The sheets were surprisingly clean which I didn't expect. Yes, I have a black light.
The toilet paper roll was just stuck over one of the arms that is supposed to hold the toilet paper because the rod was missing. I had to ask for it to be replaced.
The beds.out of two beds one is comfortable and the other is freaking hard as hell. It's terrible. The floor if not grimy would be more comfortable.
The table in-between the beds is not clean. If I wasn't here for a funeral I would leave asap.

It’s a typical low budget place. Its decent. Nothing spectacular. Water pressure sucks tho. And the beer cans and bottles all over the parking lot are not appealing. But you get what u pay for right.
