Ho fatto un tour privato con Out of the Box Florence con una guida locale, volevo fare un Wine tour della Toscana essendo una delle regioni più importanti del vino in Italia.
Avevo grosse aspettative e son state tutte appagate!
Finalmente una passeggiata fuori dal centro città, nella natura, bevendo ottimo vino!
I produttori ci hanno accolto benissimo, ho imparato tanto e c’è anche la possibilità di acquistare vino, volendo anche spedirlo.

La guida è stata sin da subito amichevole e abbiamo trascorso una giornata bellissima, con i miei amici ci siamo così tanto divertiti che sicuramente la rifaremo, magari provando anche il tour privato delle Cinque Terre!

I took a private tour with Out of the Box Florence with a local guide, I wanted to do a wine tour of Tuscany being one of the most important wine regions in Italy. I had high expectations and they were all fulfilled!

Finally a walk outside the city center, in nature, drinking excellent wine! The producers welcomed us very well, I learned a lot and there is also the possibility of buying wine, even wanting to send it.

The guide was friendly right from the start and we spent a wonderful day, with my friends we had so much fun that we will definitely do it again, perhaps even trying the private tour of the Cinque Terre!

From the moment I reached out to Stefano he took care of everything. His speedy responses to questions and flexible planning and ideas made our trip a dream. We used Florence as a hub and took day trips with the best drivers/guides and city tour guides. The vans were spotless and comfortable. Lorenzo and Marco were not only knowledgeable drivers and chaperones, but friendly, relaxed, and very accommodating. We literally couldn’t have had a better time with all three men. They even gave us ideas for when we returned to Florence each night of where to eat or catch a sunset. I will be referring their company to all of our friends.

We visited two extremely authentic wineries where we toured the grounds, tasted multiple wines, and had lunch.

Stefano was extremely knowledgeable about the region, and all of Italy for that matter, and was a joy to spend our day with. He even bought us a bottle of wine out of his own pocket.

These guides are wonderful people— knowledgeable, personable, clever and engaging. Our tours were anything but typical. This experience was the absolute highlight of our trip! We did the wine trek with Lorenzo and it was incredible. He led us through 3 small wineries in the beautiful hills of Chianti. Along the way he gave interesting facts about Italy, wine, and foraging. The group consisted of my husband and I and only 1 other person. From the moment we reached out to Stefano our experience was top notch. He listened and responded to all our questions and desires for a great wine tour. We booked two separate wine tours, one in Chianti and the other in Bolgheri. Both were amazing experiences with beautiful scenery and outstanding wine. Bolgheri was truly a gem untouched by the usual wine crowds and commercialism. Stefano handpicked each winery and a truly special lunch spot in Bolgheri. We've spent just over three weeks in Italy, and our guided Chianti Classico tour with Out of The Box Florence was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip! We began with a scenic drive through the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, then hiked between three beautiful wineries. The first two were small and intimate (just our style!), and the third was a bit larger but a wonderful private tour and tasting. We tasted a variety of delicious wines, conversed with the winemakers themselves, and also sampled their exquisite olive oils. At the second winery, we were treated to an authentic Tuscan lunch, prepared by the winemaker's mother—absolutely delicious!

Our guides, Johnny and Guilia, was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, the region, and the plants we encountered along the way. It was clear that he deeply cares about the region and sustainable tourism. His passion for the area made the experience even more enriching.

This was an unforgettable adventure that my wife and I will remember for years to come. I can't recommend this experience highly enough! Just a heads-up: this isn't a leisurely stroll. We covered about 5 miles of rolling hills with significant elevation changes, so be sure to wear proper footwear.

Do it, do it, do it. We did the wine/hiking tour with Stefano and Lorenzo. This was more than just the highlight of our 2week European getaway, it was genuinely one of the best days of my life. Lorenzo is such a genuine, warm, knowledgeable host, with an awesome understanding of the area’s history and a true love for traveling and making your day. The hiking part is only worrisome if it’s muddy, so bring tennis or hiking shoes just in case. The walking gives you a wonderful chance to trod paths originally carved by the Romans, to learn about the herbs and trees growing wild in Tuscany, and to really immerse yourself in the scenery rather than just being driven to contrived “resort-style” vineyards.

Next time we go to Italy we will plan the trip around Out of the Box. Our only regret is not having more days to spend with them.
