Cake that was really, really, really good. I gave it five stars. It was made perfect. … the second thing I tried. Belgian Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies I love chocolate chip cookies, and these were made perfect … I should’ve took a picture of the chocolate chip cookie, but I couldn’t resist myself when I got in my car. I ate it right away. But thank you guys keep up the great work. ….. customer service was amazing thank you Donna. I’m definitely coming back.

Update: After going to get my slice of cake, I took a bite and had to come update the review!

Happy about the mixup because I now got to try how good this sesame one was. It’s not too sweet and has a surprisingly good little crunch to it (sesame seeds). Definitely love the fluffiness and flavors in this cake. I will be coming back to try more flavors…
The birthday slice was a fun little one to try. A nice simple cake that isn’t too sweet, but still tasty!

The woman at the front was so kind and helpful and had such a cheery attitude. Not to mention, she also added in an extra cake because today was the 1 year anniversary of the shop! Congrats! Will be back!

I went in with no clue and asked for any recommendations. She was super sweet and recommended the black sesame slice. I wasn’t able to eat the cake and left it aside for a few hours.
I also think she may have given me the wrong one and got passion fruit instead, but no complaints! It was so delicious!
After eating it I think these slices are definitely worth the price. The cake was very soft and not at all dry. The flavors went very well together and not too sweet. Will come back and try other flavors!
Def recommend getting a coffee next door and pairing it with a slice to eat under the lanterns.

Hidden Loma

Lovely little bakery that specializes in cute minimalist flower petal cakes. Had one of their mini dessert breads with rosemary and blackberry. It was perfect: not overly sweet, with a good blend of the berries and bread, with light sweet spice. Was glad to find berries inside and not just on top. Welcoming staff as well.

If you want a treat to accompany the stationary and cafe shop next door, walk no further!

Abellas Braids

Five star all around. This place is SO cute and the cakes/desserts are outstanding. Not only does it taste amazing but it looks so beautiful, too. The woman who took my order was super helpful, offering a list of customer favorites right away because I mentioned it was my first time there and she was just so polite and sweet. We had the s’mores brownie and the chocolate cake slice and they were both delicious. If you’re wandering around Chinatown, make sure to stop in for a slice of cake or a cookie. You won’t regret it. Even if there’s a line! Truly a delicious treat.

Best cake in LA. It's hard to choose a favorite flavor so I'm a big fan of getting the 6 pack cake bars. The boss chef is mad talented. For the past year, our office always celebrates with Flouring cakes for each celebration. Will keep coming back for sure.

Heather is a brilliant pastry chef and artist!
She took our dark, magical, weird cake idea and brought it to life.

It was beautiful, twisted and unique, exactly what we wanted — our relationship in cake form. 
Not only was it stunning it was delicious and our guests were obsessed.

Heather was the perfect choice to make our wedding cake, I cannot recommend her enough and we already cannot wait to eat her cakes again!

I think Pavlova’s are my new favorite pastry: ethereal and transcendent, creamy, not too sweet, tender berries, a teeny crunch from the meringue pillow… yum!
