I’ve been a member at Clay CA for a few yrs now. These are a few pieces I’ve made at the studio. I’ve taken some private classes and one off classes here. The instructors are super knowledgeable. I LOVE this studio. Clay CA is big on community and I’ve met some of my closest friends here. I’ll be signing up for more classes soon 😄

If you've been wanting to take a class on working with clay, this is the studio! We had Michael who was excellent, super knowledgeable, a pro, and just made the environment fun. Even when things don't go well (cause spinning clay is much harder than it looks) he makes light of the mistakes. I'm really glad I decided to come to this studio for my class and get Michael.

We had the pleasure of having Michael as our instructor, who was very kind and patient. It was our first time ever throwing clay, but he made every step very simple and understandable and we just had a great time! The experience was very memorable and I would be eager to come back again 🙂

Best Clay community in all of LA. Clay CA allows you to experiment creatively and has many different kilns for firing, so the turn around time is relatively quick compared to most studios. Parking structure and street meter parking also available. Free street parking after hours based on street sign. Lots of food options nearby. Wonderful and friendly environment. 5/5

class was fun and instructor was great, but super disappointed because they said the bottom/edges of my pieces would be trimmed and cleaned up before firing, but they were not. 🙁

My daughters brought my wife and I for a family class of pottery. A great way to spend family time. Lots of fun, educational, interesting and we get our own bowl out of it!!

AMAZING CLASS. It was my very first time and my partner’s first time working with clay and our pieces turned out wonderful. A big thank you to our instructor Michael who went through every step and helped everyone in the class to help create their own wonderful art piece.

I totally recommend this studio if it’s your first time working with clay. Great group of people and great atmosphere.

This review is long overdue, but Michael deserves all the flowers. He is such an incredible instructor -- so personable, down to earth, & knowledgable! Makes everyone feel comfortable & welcomed.
