BEWARE! Zero stars would be a more appropriate review for this company. I was a monthly entertainer for one of CA Ventures properties, Anthology Senior Living of Olathe, KS. Anthology of Olathe was a "short sale" but the sale price was insufficient to to repay the mortgage. So the property lender froze the Anthology bank account, meaning they could not pay their bills/vendors. None of the phone numbers for Anthology Senior Living or CA Ventures headquarters are valid. Shady! There is no way but a general email address to contact them and you don't hear back. Pathetic company to do business with. CA Venture is a multi-million dollar company but they won't pay me my $500+.

The property was amazing... However, the staff is not so great. Shinika Hudson in particular is completely rude, and insulting and doesn't mind making situations 10 times harder than they have to be. How she still has a job in customer service is beyond me. Definitely do not recommend staying at any property she works with.

Scheduled a showing yesterday at 10:30am online for 30 E Roosevelt. Waited outside for 30min. No one showed up. All of their numbers go to voicemail. Pathetic. Don’t waste my time like that again. And no I’m not removing this review y’all can kiss it.

CA Ventures, The Jolly Roger apartments are managed by people who keep this place dirty and unsafe. They made $5 million in revenue last year. I'm concerned about where that money is going, as the building seems neglected. I've been harassed and stalked by your employees. They turn off the A/C on the thermostats, don't provide sanitary cleaning products in the gym, neglect to clean the stairwells or service the elevators, and never clean the pool. I believe this neglect is inhumane and shows a disregard for the well-being of elderly residents and college-age students.

Edit 11/9: This is hands down the most unethical, infuriating company I have ever interacted with. I have not been compensated for the most recent term despite asking 3 times. Ownership completely ignores emails and blatantly lies. Is this fraud? I can't officially say but it sure feels like someone took my money knowing that they couldn't provide the project. This experience is just getting worse and worse but ownership has refused to own up to their complaints, listen to any resident suggestions, or increase compensation. Even once this place is built I wouldn't give another cent to this terrible organization. Don't expect these people to ever do the right thing.

First and foremost I want to say the staff that has handled the phone calls is not at fault for any of this, have been very kind, and probably deserve way more money then they are getting. This review has nothing to do with them. Like everyone else has stated, construction is behind. We weren’t told this until mid/late July but I heard rumors from employees of other complexes in the Spring that they were 3 months behind. Yet they continued to sign new leases and pretend nothing was wrong. They told us it would be another month delay only a week and a half before our already delayed move in date. In our weekly updates where we should be hearing about construction progress they just made an announcement that UT has a football game coming up. No actual content about the status of the complex. Also, they are blaming the latest delays on the city of Austin but if you drive past the building it is obviously not move in ready. Embarrassing how they have deflected blame, withheld communication, and treated their residents. I’m now moving for the third time this semester since when I booked my alternative housing I had no idea it would be this bad. They have also left us high and dry when it comes to parking. This situation is frustrating enough and then you think about how everyone effected is a college student trying to learn. I shouldn’t have to balance moving and midterms in the same week. I feel so bad for the fellow students that are fielding calls on behalf of a developer and management firm that has failed so spectacularly.

Terrible management at their property in Tuscaloosa. Impossible to get a hold of anyone in corporate. No one manages or takes care of these properties, leaving residents without elevators for weeks in a 7 story building. They just want your money and do not care if they are not providing things that were promised. Stay far away from any building that this company manages.

5 stars to Maggie (CA's leasing manager). My wife and I were looking for a new home. Maggie made the leasing process easy.
She was super responsive, helpful and a very nice person to work with during our apartment search. CA is lucky to have her! Excited to move into our new place and thankful the process was smooth thanks to Maggie.

Really great location and wonderful building with everything that I need. However the management is awful. I've called a million times and no one ever calls back. They don't seem to care. I had a few friends looking to rent units, but they have since moved on. Please be more responsive to the people who need your help.
